Pulse
Pulse is an experimental film that explores rhythm, distortion, and the fractured relationship between image and sound. Constructed from found footage and processed through TouchDesigner, the work manipulates fragments of visual memory into shifting patterns of light, texture, and motion. The soundtrack—recorded on a camcorder and deliberately distorted—acts less as accompaniment and more as a pulsating forcethat drives the film’s fractured atmosphere. By embracing glitches, dissonance, and raw sonic textures,Pulse investigates how disruption can generate new aesthetic forms, creating a sensory dialogue between the visual and the auditory.
